Open the “Wolf Hall” [1] cover, his head impressively in the line: “people are wolves ... ” This line of people imaginative, and then sigh first sigh. And when you finish winning the 2009 British Booker Prize, you can not help but applaud the deep-seated hide in the artwork by Hillary Mantel. To question history and reshape history has always been the theme of Mantell’s work. Hidden under the mask of reason, civilization and progress, history hides a glittering, wolfy light in the eyes. And most people can not see unless there is such a keen insight Mantell, because history like to be coated with thick powder and beyond recognition.
