1前言液晶显示器已在计算机、电视机、游戏机、汽车仪表等仪器设备上得到广泛的应用。由于它具有低压驱动、功率小、薄型、高清晰度等特点,在信息化社会的进程中,必将日益起着更重要的作用,但液晶是非发光型材料,背部照明光源就成为透射式液晶显示器的一个必需的组成部分。作为背部照明光源,曾选用过高压放电灯、白炽灯、电致发光屏、发光二极管和荧光灯,荧光灯具有高效、耗电少、光色可调、显包性好等特点,理所当然的成为液晶显示器的最理想的背部照明光源。本文就近年来用于液晶显示器的荧光灯的进展概况作为一介绍。
