初中地理主要讲述地理科学的基础知识,内容比较枯燥、抽象,学习时不但需要记忆大量的概念和名词,更需要学生的理性思考。因此,很多学生对地理都是在一知半解的基础上进行背诵,但这样造成的结果是学生不会用地理知识解决实际问题,达不到既定的教学目标。基于地理课程的性质,初中地理教学往往陷入困境,地理教师必须从学生的角度,选择教学方法等多方面入手,不断提高地理教学的课堂效果。一、初中地理教学的主要困境
