The special phenomena and problems such as electric field infiltration, vacuum stability, efficiency of isotope ratio measurement, spatial charge effect and X-ray background appeared in the development of the ultrasensitive miniature cyclotron mass spectrometer were introduced. Years of observation and experimentation have found ways to overcome and solve these problems.
