2002年7月14～19日,国际传播学协会第52届年会在韩国汉城召开,1 000多名来自世界各地的传播学者参加。年会以“通过传播达到和谐/和解”为主题,共举行了约280场分组会议、全体会议、专题研讨会和特设研讨会。会议内容涵盖了传播学各分支领域的方方面面,反映了新闻传播学界所关注的动向和研究成果。笔者获教育部经费资助,出席了年会,并在两场分组会议上宣讲论文。1 会议特色本届年会由韩国新闻与传播学协会协办,会议组委会主席由韩国大学Taik Sup Auh教授担任。这是国际传播学协会年会首次在亚洲召开,东道主韩国对此极其重视。金大中总统亲自出席招待晚宴,欢迎来自世界各地的传播学者。会议期间,韩国文 From July 14 to July 19, 2002, the 52nd Annual Conference of the Society for International Communication was held in Seoul, South Korea, and over 1,000 communication scholars from all over the world participated. The conference held about 280 breakout sessions, plenary sessions, symposia and ad hoc seminars on the theme of “Harmony / Reconciliation through Communication”. The conference covers all aspects of the field of communication science, reflecting the trends and research results of journalism and communication scholars. The author was funded by the Ministry of Education, attended the annual meeting, and presented papers at two breakout sessions. 1 Features of the conference This annual conference is co-organized by the Korea Association of Journalism and Communication. The chairman of the conference organizing committee is Professor Taik Sup Auh of the Korean University. This is the first time that the Association of International Communication Societies convenes in Asia, and host country South Korea attaches great importance to it. President Kim Dae-jung personally attended the reception banquet and welcomed communication scholars from all over the world. During the meeting, Korean
