令箭荷花在栽培中有两点令人遗憾:一是花期太短;二是变态茎软弱,需搭架支撑,好好的一盆花,不协调的架子就使其减色三分。笔者在莳养中动了点脑筋,不仅使花期延长1倍以上(最长可达半月),而且还克服了搭支架有碍观赏的问题,植株整体丰满挺拔。按苏州的自然气候条件,3月底至4月初令箭荷花开始孕蕾,先后在5月底花尽,花后即进入短暂的休眠期,此时正适合翻盆换土。如果气温偏高,且植株本身底气较壮,也可能花未开完,底脚即有新
