Background:Incontinence and automatic defection of permanent intestinal stoma bring about great psychic pressure and inconvenience to patients. So nurse of stoma is important to the recovery of disease and living quality. From 1999 to 2001, 54 intestinal stoma patients received self nurse instruction, which received satisfactory effects.
