新教师试用期培训作为继续教育的一个特定阶段,其主要目标是帮助新教师尽快适应和熟悉教师的常规工作,缩短独自摸索的时间,从而提高教育教学的技巧与能力,增强自信心和责任感,树立敬业精神。通过培训,将教学工作、继续学习和教学研究紧密结合,以解决新教师在踏上工作岗位初期遇到的各种实际问题。 新教师从师范院校学生变成一名中学教师,有一个角色转换的过程。由于在校学习阶段侧重于基础理论与专业知识的掌握,对教学能力的培养和训练明显不足,当他们跨入工作岗位成为一名教师之后,迫切需要尽快掌握教学工作的方法和技巧。新教师试用期培训就应针对他们在校学习时技能训练与研究的不足而将“课堂教学技能研究”列为重点内容,以帮助他们提高课堂教学能力。
