党和国家卓越领导人邓小平同志的逝世,是我党我军我国各族人民的巨大损失。我们要化悲痛为力量,继承小平同志的遗志,坚持“两手抓”的原则,做好银行安全保卫工作,用实际行动来表达我们的悼念。坚持“两手抓”的方针,是建设社会主义现代化的基本方针。党的十一届三中全会决定把全党工作着重点转移到经济建设上来,实行改革开放,小平同志提出坚持四项基本原则,坚持“两手抓”的战略方针。1992年在南巡讲话中又全面阐述了“两手抓,两手都要硬”的道理。他告诫我们在建设物质文明的同时也要抓好精神文明建设。党的十四大又作出了用邓小平同志建设有中国特色社会主义理论武装全党,教育干部和人民的决定,突出了社会主义精神文明建设的重要地位。因此,我们在实际工作中,要遵循小平同志的教导,坚持“两手抓,两手都要硬”的方针,才能使改革开放和现代化建设健康发展。
The death of Comrade Deng Xiaoping, the party and state great leader, is a tremendous loss to the Chinese people of all ethnic groups in our party and army. We must turn grief into strength, inherit the behest of Comrade Xiaoping, and adhere to the principle of “grasping both hands” and do a good job in bank security and deeds, and use concrete actions to express our condolences. Adhering to the principle of “grasping both hands” is the basic guideline for building the socialist modernization. The Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party decided to shift the focus of the work of the entire party to economic construction and carry out reform and opening up. Comrade Xiaoping proposed to uphold the four cardinal principles and adhere to the strategic principle of “grasping both hands.” In his speech in the South Tour in 1992, he fully elaborated the principle of “grasping both hands and both hands”. He warned us that we should also grasp the building of spiritual civilization while building material civilization. The 14th CPC National Congress also made the decision of using Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics to arm the entire party, educate cadres and people, and highlight the important role of socialist spiritual civilization. Therefore, in actual work, we should follow the teaching of Comrade Xiaoping and adhere to the principle of “using both hands and both hands should be hard” so that we can make the reform and opening up and the healthy development of our modernization drive.
