渭河盆地位于秦岭和渭河北山之间。秦岭与渭河平原接触线是一条长350公里、断距近万米,依次北降的阶梯状断裂带。高差近千米的渭河北山与渭河平原接触线是一条长300余公里,断距大于千米,依次南降的断裂带。因此,渭河盆地是一个地堑构造(图1)。 Weihe Basin is located between the Qinling Mountains and the Weihe Beishan. The contact line between Qinling and Weihe Plain is a stepped fault zone with a length of 350 km and a breaking distance of nearly ten thousand meters, followed by a northward drop. The nearly 800-meter-wide contact line between the Weihe Beishan and the Weihe Plain is a fault zone of more than 300 kilometers in length with a fault line distance greater than 1000 meters and then descending south. Therefore, Weihe Basin is a graben structure (Figure 1).
