社会发展迄今为止,人类对自身的认识、探索和发现,从未停止过。古希腊哲学家苏格拉底把“认识你自己”①确定为哲学的使命,从而揭开了人类自我探索的序幕。我们以此为启示,对盆景艺术思维方法的研究,对艺术表现形式的分析,无疑对大脑两半球的功能和特点,必先有所认识、有所发现才能进一步明确盆景思维方法的科学依据,使其对盆景艺术知其然,又知其所以然,并在实践中开创新天地。一、大脑两半球对盆景艺术的联系“美国著名脑生理学家,诺贝尔奖金获得者斯佩里博士,经过多年研究,探明了人脑两半球的功能分工,左脑控制抽象思维,右脑控制形象思维。”②现代科学已研究表明,人的大脑左半球分工为语言、逻辑、数学等运算系统,主要优势表现为说话和语言活动。人的大脑右半球分工为音乐、美术、盆景、书法、体育等空间知觉的辩证系统,主要优势表现在支配空间创造性的艺术活动。一旦这两种思维能力得到协调和平衡发展,人的创造能力、艺术水平就会得到最大限度的提高。

The division of labor into the right hemisphere of the human brain is a dialectical system of spatial perception of music, fine arts, bonsai, calligraphy and physical education. The main advantage lies in the artistic activity that dominates creative creativity in space. Once these two kinds of thinking are coordinated and balanced development of human creativity, the arts will be the maximum level of improvement.
