别勒滩位于察尔汗盐湖西部边缘地区,与东台吉乃尔盐湖接壤,同处柴达木盆地拗陷中心,在整个柴达木盆地盐湖中也是Li元素相对富集的地段之一。该地段在距北岸10 km的范围内,Li平均含量为0.594 g/L,最高可达1.225 g/L,与东台吉乃尔盐湖晶间卤水中Li含量很接近,但Mg/Li比值高出东台吉乃尔盐湖2~3倍。该地段Li的水平分布大致可划分为3个区域:Ⅰ区Li含量为1.0~1.2 g/L;Ⅱ区Li含量为0.4~0.6 g/L;Ⅲ区Li含量为0.2~0.3 g/L,其变化趋势是由北向南逐渐降低。别勒滩干盐湖底部盐层形成于距今25 000 a,上部盐层成盐期大约距今15 000 a。别勒滩西部边缘的涩聂湖是在大约距今10 000 a左右形成的新的具有表面卤水的全新世盐湖,该湖也是别勒滩区段主要物质来源的汇集区和补给区。
Belek Beach is located on the western edge of Chaer Khan Salt Lake and bordered on the salt lake of East Taiwan’s Guinean Salt Lake and is located in the center of the depression of the Qaidam Basin. It is also one of the sites where Li element is relatively abundant throughout the salt lake in the Qaidam Basin. The average content of Li is 0.594 g / L within a range of 10 km from the north shore, with a maximum of 1.225 g / L, which is close to the Li content in the intergranular brine of the East Taiwan Knell Salt Lake, but the Mg / Li ratio is higher than that of the Dongtai Guinea Salt Lake 2 to 3 times. The horizontal distribution of Li in this area can be roughly divided into three areas: the Li content in Ⅰ area is 1.0 ~ 1.2 g / L; the Li content in Ⅱ area is 0.4 ~ 0.6 g / L; the Li content in Ⅲ area is 0.2 ~ 0.3 g / L, The trend is gradually decreasing from north to south. The salt layer at the bottom of the Belem dry lakes is formed 25,000 years ago, and the upper salt formation period is about 15,000 years ago. Shibuya Lake on the western edge of Belem is a new brine with Holocene salt lacustrine formed about 10 000 years ago. The lake is also the catchment and recharge area for the main source of material for the Belem section.
