西部电视作为一个独具特色的区域文化传播主体,在电视传播领域占据着重要地位。然而,作为一种极富电视特征的电视艺术形态——电视剧,在西部的电视媒体却呈现出某种程度的匮乏,无论在创作还是传播上都显得不够丰富和活跃。一方面,就传播主体来说,通过媒介主体的传播行为、审美方式、观念意志及其节目资源配置等等可以折射出媒介主体的文化认知结构、传播观念及其功能形态。另一方面,从区域文化角度来看,西部的受众具有民族文化的多样性,同时由于历史文化原因造成西部受众的审美需求与文化认知滞后,对电视剧有其特定的接受心理,显然,重视和考察长期为人忽略的电视剧在西部的传播问题,不仅对于西部而且对于整个中国的电视文化发展都具有重要的意义。

And to investigate the long-neglected drama in the west of the issue of communication, not only for the western but also for the development of television culture in China is of great significance.
