泥泥狗是河南淮阳太昊陵“人祖庙会”上传承已久的黑底彩绘泥塑,其造型、色彩、纹饰承载着原初先民图腾崇拜、祖先崇拜和生殖崇拜的诸多表征,具有提醒、告诫等“纪念碑性”的功能。本文通过分析太昊陵、人祖庙会与泥泥狗的“场域”关系,对史前时期、古代文明社会与现代文明社会三个阶段泥泥狗功用的比照,阐释泥泥狗“纪念碑性”从显性至隐性再到消解的流传与嬗变。
