英国的美术院校有两种类型,一种是独立的美术设计学院,一种是隶属于综合大学中的美术设计学院。 英国美术院校本科学制一般为四年,硕士学位研究生两年,博士两年,学生入学绝无专门入学考试,而以其中学毕业时的学习成绩为准。也即是说,任何有中学毕业文凭的人都可以申请进入美术院校学习,学生申请时需寄上本人美术作品10—20件,学院经审查其美术作品与中学的学习成绩后,通知学生在约定时间来校面试(interview)。面试是非常重要的,涉及到对学生艺术志向,知识背景等的了解,面试几乎占入学总要求的30％,不象我国侧重一次性考试而轻面试,最后结合学生的中学成绩、美术作品、面试情况,经系主任、部主任、教授教员一起讨论决定录取与否。 There are two types of art schools in the UK, one is an independent art and design college and the other is an art and design college affiliated with a polytechnic university.
