四川南坪县“白马藏族”族属问题至今犹有争议。我们力图在广泛测量的基础上用体质人类学的方法对其族属问题进行探讨。寻求了一种细致的、较为可靠的数学方法.用电子计算机对17万多个测量数据进行系统处理。结果表明“白马藏族”应是一个独立的民族。从体质特征上看,它与嘉戎藏族、羌族同源,而与玛曲、红原安多藏族关系较疏。
The issue of the “White Horse Tibetan” tribe in Nanping County in Sichuan is still controversial. We sought to explore the issue of their ancestry using physical anthropology on the basis of extensive measurements. A detailed and reliable mathematical method was sought. The computer was used to systematically process over 170,000 measurement data. The results show that the “White Horse Tibetan” should be an independent nation. Judging from the physical characteristics, it is homologous to the Jia, Zang, and Yi ethnic groups, but it is less well-connected with the Maqu and Hongyuanan Tibetans.
