This article focuses on the relationship between porphyrin metabolism and liver disease and gastric cancer. Liver disease is not only one of the most common causes of secondary porphyria, but also aggravates some congenital porphyria. Porphyrin metabolism caused by liver disorders and its impact studies have shown that tin porphyrin is expected to improve liver function. The use of some features of porphyrin and its relationship with tumors has led to a new approach to the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer.
