鈾矿的放射性选別是利用探測器和选矿輻射仪記录运輸带上矿石的γ射綫所产生的电流脉冲。在一定时間內当脉冲数达到仪器所給定的調整值时,那么仪器卽控制选取机械动作,从而达到分选的目的。放射性选矿具有統計学性貭,分选的精确度取决于矿石的放射性的統計性以及在射线探测器和輻射仪线路中的元件所引起的过程的統計性。在絕大多数的情况下,統計性誤差服从一般的分配定律。
Radioactive sorting of uranium ore is the use of detectors and mineral processing radiometers to record the pulses of ore produced by gamma radiation. Within a certain period of time when the pulse reaches the adjustment value given by the instrument, then the instrument 卽 control the selection of mechanical action, so as to achieve the purpose of sorting. Radioactive beneficiation is statistically significant and the accuracy of the sorting depends on the statistical nature of the radioactivity of the ore and on the statistics of the processes that result from the components in the radiodetector and radiometer circuits. In the vast majority of cases, statistical errors follow a general distribution law.
