波长选择开关(WSS)是近几年发展迅速的可重构光分插复用器(ROADM)的子系统,其波长开关能够在任意的输入、输出端口之间进行倒换,大大提高了密集波分复用(DWDM)设备的组网能力。文章简述了实现WSS的几种技术方法的特点,阐述了基于液晶技术的WSS的结构,给出了具体的1×2 WSS的光路设计方案,并利用琼斯矩阵从理论上分析了该结构的可行性。
Wavelength Selector Switch (WSS) is a subsystem of reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexer (ROADM) which has been developed rapidly in recent years. Its wavelength switch can be switched between any input and output ports, greatly increasing the intensity of dense wave Division multiplexing (DWDM) equipment networking capabilities. The article briefly describes the characteristics of several technical methods to realize WSS, elaborates the structure of WSS based on liquid crystal technology, gives the design scheme of 1 × 2 WSS optical circuit, and uses the Jones matrix to theoretically analyze the structure of feasibility.
