利用高梁非迈罗细胞质A_2TAM428为不育源,以印度高梁V_A(picklet)为基础材料,经连续8代回交转育,于1987年育成新型细胞质不育系A_2V_4A,在国内率先开发出A_2型种质资源,为高梁杂交种的选育开辟了新途径。试验与研究结果表明,该系具有育性稳定、配合力高、综合农艺性状优良等特点,可在我国中晚熟区、早熟区和复播区应用。目前在全国应用该系巳育成4个杂交种,其中晋杂12号、吉杂80号已通过审定,在全国高梁主产区大面积推广。对解决杂交高梁生产中由于利用单一细胞质带来的潜伏性病害流行,具有十分重要的利用价值。
In this study, the non-Pyogenetic cytoplasm A_2TAM428 of sorghum was used as an infertile source and the V_A (picklet) as the basic material. After eight generations of backcrossing, the new type of cytoplasmic male sterile line A_2V_4A was bred in 1987, Germplasm resources for sorghum hybrid seed breeding opened up new ways. The result of experiment and research shows that this line has the characteristics of stable fertility, high combining ability and good agronomic traits. It can be used in the late-maturing, early maturing and retransplantation areas in China. At present, four lines of hybrids have been bred in the whole country. Among them, Jinza 12 and Jizhuan 80 have passed the examination and are widely popularized in the main producing areas of China’s sorghum. It is of great value to solve the prevalence of latent diseases caused by the use of single cytoplasm during hybrid sorghum production.
