本文把公德与私德间关系的一般讨论具体化为对我国金昌等地“把孝敬父母、关爱家人等私德作为选拔和评价干部的硬性条件”这一实际做法的争议,通过对正反双方各种观点的系统梳理、辩驳和评价,提出以下观点:(1)官员的家庭美德、私交情谊属于其私德范畴,不宜抹杀公德与私德的分殊,不宜用私德统一官德;(2)孝行之于官德,既非必要条件也非充分条件;(3)用传统儒家伦理重建当代中国官德的合理性值得商榷。
This article concretely discusses the general discussion of the relationship between morality and private morality as a controversy over the actual practice of “using the personal morality of filial piety and caring for family members as the hard condition of selecting and appraising cadres” in Jinchang and other places in China. (1) The officials’ family virtues and personal friendship belong to the category of their personal morality. They should not negate the distinction between public morality and private morality, and should not use the common ethics of private morality ; (2) filial piety in official morality is neither necessary nor sufficient conditions; (3) the reasonableness of reconstructing the contemporary Chinese official morality with traditional Confucian ethics is debatable.
