对于洋务运动的历史评价,历来众说纷纭。其中洋务运动与中国民族资本主义发生、发展的关系怎样?是一个存在着较大分歧的关键问题。我们认为:洋务运动对民族资本主义的发生、发展,既有促进一面又有限制和阻碍一面,往往表现为在促进中有阻碍,在限制中又有促进,形成一种错纵复杂的关系,从整个历史发展的趋势来看,阻碍和限制的一面是主要的。而这种阻碍和限制作用在“官督商办”企业中表现更为明显。本文试就此问题发表些粗浅看法,请同志们指正。 The history of the Westernization Movement has always been divided on different opinions.
