由于相关史料的缺乏,隋唐南汉时期潮州的历史面貌很不清晰。而这一时段在本地历史文化的研究中又很重要,不仅关涉对本时段的历史认知,且对宋代潮州全面开发历史基础的把握。本文从自然地理和交通条件、人口状况及经济发展情形、移民与原住民、地方势力与国家的关系等方面,尝试着对这一时段潮州历史进行重构。最后,对其社会文明所达到的程度做了评估。 Due to the lack of relevant historical materials, the history of Chaozhou during the Nan-Han and Sui and Tang Dynasties was not clear. This period is very important in the study of local history and culture. It not only concerns the historical cognition of this period but also grasps the historical foundation of the comprehensive development of Chaozhou in the Song Dynasty. This article attempts to reconstruct the history of Chaozhou during this period from aspects of natural geography and traffic conditions, population situation and economic development situation, immigrants and indigenous people, the relations between local forces and the state. Finally, the extent of its social civilization has been assessed.
