Hypoxia induced factor 1 (HIF1) is the main transcription factor that regulates cell hypoxia, and HIF1α is the active regulatory subunit. HIF1α expression in glioma significantly increased, and is closely related to the malignant progression of glioma. HIF1 is a heterodimeric structure that regulates the expression of a variety of genes involved in cell hypoxia; oxygen levels, related oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes and cytokines all regulate the expression of HIF1α; HIF1α and neovascularization , Cell metabolism, apoptosis and cell necrosis are closely related, and can affect the radiotherapy and chemotherapy on tumor efficacy; HIF1α target drug or gene therapy is becoming the focus of glioma and clinical research focus.
