广元市利用外资工作起步较晚，但发展趋势较快，近年来迈出了较大的步伐，取得了可喜的进展。截止２０００年８月，全市已批准签约和立项的外资项目９项，主要是国际金融组织贷款（不含德援项目赠款）。可利用外资金额达４３５４．４３万美元（约３４０４３．２７万元人民币）
Guangyuan City started its work late on using foreign capital, but its development trend is relatively rapid. In recent years, it has made great strides and made gratifying progress. As of August 2000, the city has approved 9 foreign-funded projects signed and approved, mainly loans from International Finance Organizations (excluding the German aid project grants). Available foreign capital amounted to 43,544,300 US dollars (about 340,432,700 yuan)
