Since 1976, triadimefon has been the main agent for controlling wheat powdery mildew in China. For the first time in 1991, resistant strains were found in Shandong Province, followed by reports of resistant strains in other areas. The laboratory started from 1995 to monitor the wheat powdery mildew resistance to triadimefon, the results show that the average level of resistance and the frequency of resistant strains are generally on the rise [1-3].
