在嘉峪关市邮电局的营业大厅的柜台里面,人们经常可以看到一位戴着眼镜、满头银发、年近8旬的老人,不是忙着开汇票,就是登记挂号信,他就是被人们誉为“义务老邮电”的离休干部、共产党员刘葆光。刘老原来是玉门市民政局的干部,离休后于1976年来到老家嘉峪关市和子孙们团聚。他虽然退体了,但每天竖持看书看报,并且大量从外地邮购他所需要的学习资料。他经常到市邮电局去寄信、汇款、取邮包,和市邮电局营业室的营业员都比较熟悉。
