在 The Royal Hospital of Sultanate of Oman 工作期间,一位英国朋友送给我一首很感人的英文诗。诗的引言说:在 Scotland 一家医院的老年人病房,有一老太太刚刚去世。护士在清理遗物的时候,发现了这首令人深思的诗。护士把它带到了自己的家乡 Ireland,后来在北爱尔兰心理健康协会会讯上发表,随后慢慢传遍欧洲。
An English friend gave me a touching English poem during her time at The Royal Hospital of Sultanate of Oman. The introduction of the poem says that an elderly lady had just died in an elderly ward at a hospital in Scotland. The nurse discovered the thought-provoking poem while cleaning up the relics. The nurse took it to her hometown, Ireland, and was later published on the Northern Ireland Mental Health Association newsletter, then slowly spread across Europe.
