Objectives: To compare the differences in the evaluation of parental relationships among college students living in China and the United States. Methods: A cross-cultural comparative study of 439 undergraduates (239 in the United States and 200 in China) was conducted using a self-designed questionnaire on psychological adjustment of undergraduates (CCSAI). The scale has high homogeneity and half reliability. Results: The participants of different races, genders and ages had no interaction on the evaluation of parental relationship. The evaluation of parental relationship in Chinese P students was more positive than that of other Chinese blood students studying in the United States (P <0.00001) In Table N, all subjects with Chinese blood relative to European and American students rated their parents’ relations more negatively (P <0.0001). CONCLUSION: Different social cultures make the performance evaluation of college students in China and the United States different from their parents
