本实验系1981~1984年,采用西北农学院果树站的成年猕猴桃大树及已开花的幼年嫁接苗的叶片进行的。用联苯胺、愈创树脂等药剂的溶液,分别与猕猴桃雌、雄株的结果枝和发育枝的叶片提取液进行反应,观察反应液的颜色变化和排出气泡的多少,判断过氧化物酶活性的高低,以鉴别雌、雄株。其结果,雄株与药剂作用后,反应液颜色变化比雌株快而深,反应液中排出的氧气量也多。历年试验均表明,雌、雄株反应液均明显不同。
