根艺的创作,往往首先得于大自然的恩赐。我的这件根艺作品《苍鹰》(见左图),材种为云南山栎木,高46cm,宽34cm,是一个偶然的机会从山野之中所得。起初,未曾有创作成什么物象的构思,只认为它大不了可以做个底座什么的,但在剔除泥土、朽皮,清洗干净之后,观其形态时灵感出现了——一个古朴雄健的苍鹰轮廓呈现在我的面前。在创作的过程中,唯一经过雕琢的仅为鹰的嘴尖部分,其余从鹰的整个身躯到底座浑然一体,无任何刀斧之功和拼接之处。细细一看,整个根材虚实相
