改革开放以来,我国农村文化建设取得了一定成绩,但与我国农村快速发展的经济和日益提高的物质生活水平相比,农村文化建设和发展则较为滞后,与建设社会主义新农村、实现和谐社会的目标不相适应。文化建设在新农村建设中居于核心地位。当前,农村文化建设要以农民为主体,以农村独特的民间文化为内核,推动农村文化产业的发展,建立现代农民所需要的新乡村文化,推动社会主义新农村建设。
