对于汽油机来说,燃烧的完善程度和由此可达到的指示效率受到发动机可能发生的爆震的限制。为了能够估计增压汽油机在部分负荷时是否能达到与非增压发动机相同的循环过程效率,必须研究增压发动机的爆震问题。
For a gasoline engine, the degree of completeness of the combustion and thus the indicated efficiency can be limited by the possibility of detonation of the engine. In order to be able to estimate whether the turbocharged gasoline engine can achieve the same cycle efficiency as the non-supercharged engine under partial load, it is necessary to study the knocking problem of turbocharged engine.
