The several articles on the war on aiding Korea and the United States have been erroneously disseminated since the late 1980s: First, who is the earliest person in China to judge whether the U.S. troops might land in Incheon? Second, who sent a joint letter of help from Kim Il Sung and Park Hyeonong to Beijing Mao Zedong’s; thirdly, whether the use of “volunteer forces” is based on the proposal of Huang Yanpei; and fourth, a reference to the famous quote by Omar Bradley, then chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States. The newly published book, at least three of the above four things, has been corroborated. This prompted the author to write this article.
