2013年10月5日,香港举行了一场庆祝香港苏富比成立四十周年的晚间拍卖会,拍品涵盖了60件二十世纪中国艺术、亚洲当代艺术及现、当代东南亚艺术之顶级珍品。出人意料的是,拍品曾梵志的油画“最后的晚餐”受到了买家格外的追捧,现场高潮迭起,藏家举出1亿港币之后,价格一路追加,最后以1.8亿港币成交。一举创造了亚洲当代艺术品的最高价纪录,也成为目前国内在世艺术家首件过亿的作品。回眸往昔,从1980年代开始,世界拍卖史上产生了众多天价的绘画作品。
