面对前人对《诗经》的妄说和时人认为“诗不足通”的轻视态度,欧阳修出于尊经重道的目的,写作了《诗本义》。欧阳修的诗“本义”有二个:诗人之意与圣人之志。欧阳修寻求诗“本义”通过据诗直解、考于人情、注意文理等三条路径达成。然而欧阳修对诗“本义”的追求所抱有的同一性理想仍然是一种幻想。近年来有不少学者关注欧阳修《诗本义》,然而他们多从文学的角度去看待、定位这本书。其实,欧阳修对《诗经》“本义”的探讨完全是站在儒学政治家的立场上出于尊经重道的目的而展开的。这一点从他写作的背景、写作《诗本义》的态度、对“本义”的阐释以及如何寻求诗“本义”等几方面明显地表现了出来。
Confronted with the former people’s arrogant attitude toward The Book of Songs and their contempt of poetic thinking, Ouyang Xiu wrote “the original meaning of the poem” for the purpose of respecting the importance and dignity. Ouyang Xiu’s poem “original meaning ” has two: the poet’s meaning and the saint’s ambition. Ouyang Xiu seeks poems “original meaning ” through the poetic solution, test of human, pay attention to the three paths of literature and art reached. However, Ouyang Xiu’s ideal of identity held by the pursuit of poem “original meaning ” is still an illusion. In recent years, many scholars pay attention to Ouyang Xiu’s “original meaning of poetry”. However, they often treat this book from the perspective of literature. In fact, Ouyang Xiu ’s discussion of the Book of Songs “The Original Meaning ” is entirely based on the Confucianism politician’ s position for the sake of respecting the important principles. This is evident from the background of his writing, the attitude of writing “the original meaning of the poem”, the interpretation of “original meaning ” and how to seek the poem “original meaning ”.
