在我们北方.有这样一首流传甚广的民谚:“一九、二九不出手,三九、四九冰上走,五九、六九沿河看柳,七九河开,八九雁来,九九加一九,耕牛遍地走。”你知道这里的“九”指的是什么吗?你知道这“九”起自何时吗?《现代汉语辞典》和《辞海》的解释都是这样的:“从冬至起每九天是一个‘九’.从一‘九’数起.数到九‘九’为止.即数九”。从一定意义上讲,“九”是寒冷的代名词.“数九寒天”嘛.而“九”的起始日就是冬至。
