Before dawn dawn, enter the yet-to-open Borobudur to embrace the holy sunrise on the pagoda. The rising of the sun, the sunshine passing through the darkness before the dawn, awakened all things in the world, and also seemed to awaken the lost civilization of Borobudur. The volcano, which stands on the steps of the stupa, smoking in the distance, is clearly visible. This site, once buried for hundreds of years by volcanoes, is now revered in the most sacred gesture to every worshiper of devout hearts. Touching Buddha statues thousands of years ago, I was like crossing to a long time, the flow of time and space, a moment of solemn silence. It is Yogyakarta here and my first stop in Indonesia.
