The main purpose of acoustic neuroma surgery is to completely remove the tumor and retain facial nerve function. In the past 10 years, the preservation of hearing loss for surgical patients has drawn more and more attention. However, with the exception of individual cases, there is currently no research on the long-term effects of tumor recurrence and hearing preservation on such patients. The author selected 22 cases of hearing preservation surgery from 80 cases of cerebellopontine brain tumors. 20 cases of acoustic neuroma, 2 cases of meningioma. The group of patients with hearing loss average less than 60dB, the tumor is less than 2cm, undergoing suboccipital approach, all patients with hearing preservation after each line of pure tone audiometry, audiometry, auditory brainstem response and CT examination. Of the 22 patients, 11 had preserved hearing after surgery and 2 of the 22 patients died of coronary artery disease in 3 to 5 years
