Rubinny, a professor of economics at New York University recently predicted that the Chinese economy is likely to “make a hard landing” after 2013. His remark immediately drew Chinese scholars’ vocal opposition to nationalism. While China’s economy is taking a second look at the total output, the Western economy is comprehensively “falling into power,” the global model of holding China there is already some skyrocketing things, Rubinney said apparently some “out of date.” Prophecy has never been accurate, so the words of a Westerner may not necessarily be more true. However, there are indeed many potential crises in the Chinese economy that are easily overlooked when the mood is high.
