ATM网络能够提供话音、视频和数据等不同类型的业务,而不同的业务类型有不同的业务质量要求.ATM业务量管理机制能使ATM网络在综合不同类型业务的同时,达到预期的网络性能和链路利用率.综述了ATM业务量管理的基本方法,比较了连接接纳控制的不同带宽分配机制对网络性能以及不同排队算法对网络链路利用率的影响.结果证明:在满足网络性能和提高信道利用率方面,单VC单队列算法是最佳方案
ATM networks can provide different types of voice, video and data services, and different types of business have different business quality requirements. ATM traffic management mechanism enables ATM network in the integrated different types of business at the same time, to achieve the expected network performance and link utilization. The basic methods of ATM traffic management are summarized. The effect of different bandwidth allocation mechanisms of admission admission control on the network performance and the utilization of different queuing algorithms on the network link is compared. The results show that single-VC single-queue algorithm is the best solution to meet network performance and improve channel utilization
