Objective: To investigate and understand the mental and physical health of different regions and their influencing factors. Methods: A total of 11 362 officers and men of land, sea and air forces from different regions randomly selected from the Chinese Psychosomatic Health Scale (CPSHS) were assessed for their mental and physical health, and their influencing factors were analyzed. Results: The scores of five psychosomatic factors such as respiratory system, cardiovascular system, anxiety, depression and psychosis in the central and western regions were significantly or very significantly lower than those in the eastern region (P <0.05, P <0.01). In the 1980s, there was no significant difference in the mental health factor, body health factor and the total score of physical and mental health among military personnel in different regions (P> 0.05). In the 1990s and 2000, the mental health factors and the mental and physical health The scores were significantly or very significantly lower than those in the eastern region (P <0.05, P <0.01). Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a significant or very significant negative correlation (P <0.05, P <0.01) between the regional and mental health factors and the total score of mental and physical health; the scores of mental health factor, physical health factor and physical and mental health of the age and military personnel were significantly Significant negative correlation (P <0.01). The results of multivariate stepwise regression analysis showed that mental health factors were entered into the region and age, and the total score of mental and physical health was the regression equation of dependent variables (P <0.01). Conclusion: There was no significant difference in the factors of mental and physical health among servicemen in the 1980s. In the 1990s and 2000s, the mental and physical health of the servicemen in the eastern region was lower than that of the servicemen in the central and western regions.
