绘画作为直观的形象,能迅速、长久地保留在观众的记忆中,用外语对绘画作品中肖像和景物进行描述,可以激活学生记忆中已有的词汇,并能掌握大量新词语。画家借助绘画作品中的图形和色彩来反映生活,而语言大师则通过语言来描述生活中的各种现象。在缺少外语语言环境下,将所学语言国家的绘画艺术引入到外语实践课教学中,既可以帮助学生强化外语单词、词组的记忆,扩大外语词汇量,提高记忆词汇的效率,又可以提高学生口、笔语的实践能力,形成全面的信息储备。
