为了解催化对微型发动机燃烧室内甲烷燃烧特性的影响,采用甲烷和空气的预混合气体,对在活塞上表面和燃烧室顶部涂有Pt-La/γ-Al2O3催化剂的微型发动机的催化燃烧特性进行了实验研究及数值模拟,对比分析了有、无催化燃烧时微型发动机的燃烧特性。结果表明:催化燃烧可以提高燃烧效率,着火时刻会有大幅度的提前,微型发动机具有更高的输出功率和能量密度;催化燃烧可以降低燃料的着火温度,扩展微燃烧的可燃界限。
To understand the effect of catalysis on methane combustion in a micro-engine combustion chamber, the catalytic combustion characteristics of a micro-engine coated with Pt-La / γ-Al 2 O 3 catalyst on the upper surface of the piston and on the top of the combustion chamber were performed using a premixed gas of methane and air The experimental research and numerical simulation are carried out to compare and analyze the combustion characteristics of micro-engines with and without catalytic combustion. The results show that catalytic combustion can improve the combustion efficiency and lead to a significant advance in the ignition time. The micro-engine has higher output power and energy density. The catalytic combustion can reduce the ignition temperature of the fuel and extend the flammability limit of the micro-combustion.
