The problem of causality has drawn the attention of some prominent philosophers from ancient Greece to the present. In the past, it was strongly supported by the natural sciences, especially the classical physics. However, it had been challenged by quantum theory in the modern natural sciences in the 30s and 50s of this century. As a result, philosophers (including scientists) thought that it would disappear in science and philosophy with the emergence of quantum theory. actually not. Quantum theory does not mean negating causality, but removing the components of mechanical determinism in the concept of causality. Mario Bunge, a prominent Canadian philosopher and leading contemporary philosopher of contemporary philosophy, looks very keenly
