单品管理具有新品管理和原品管理两个环节。新品管理要点是通过新品的适销性分析(畅销、常规、滞销)以确定进什么货(What),通过同类产品所有供应商的综合分析以确定进谁家的货(Which),通过商品导入量分析(一次进货量、进货周期)以确定进多少(How many)。原品管理的要点是监督商品由畅销或常规销售转变为滞销,及时报警,以及调整商品的导入量、最高储存量和最低储存量等。单品管理中的适销性分析、导入量分析、滞销报警等等都离不开重要参数——单品费用。
