The ICMIX introduced in this paper is an example reasoning-based expert system for laying hen feed formulations, a paradigm-oriented programming model consisting of dietary and sub-paradigm examples. The basic paradigm in the sample library represents the typical combination of raw materials and nutritional constraints. According to the actual production environment, the system synthesizes and modifies the examples according to the rules and models in the knowledge base, and then calls the linear programming to get the optimal formulation.
