福勒(Fowler,J)在吸收前人研究基础上,创设了信仰发展理论模型,形成了20年来西方较有影响的人格发展理论。信仰发展模型理论认为,人的信仰发展依据年龄发展可分为未分辨的信仰、直觉投射的信仰、童话文字信仰、认同群体信仰、个人反省信仰、契合式信仰和普世化信仰等七个阶段。该理论对我们的启示是,要根据青少年心理发展阶段特征进行信仰与价值教育,并将信仰辅导与道德的自我建构结合起来。
On the basis of absorbing previous studies, Fowler (J) created a theory model of belief development and formed the more influential theory of personality development in the West over the past 20 years. According to the model of belief development, people’s belief development can be divided into seven stages according to age development: undisciplined belief, intuitionistic projection belief, fairy tales belief, identity group belief, individual introspection faith, conformity belief and universal faith . The enlightenment to us from this theory is that we should carry out the education of belief and value according to the characteristics of adolescent’s psychological development phase and combine the guidance of faith with the self-construction of morality.
