硼能显著地提高钢的淬透性。当硼在钢中的量为0.002~0.005%时,淬透性最好,可代替大量的镍、铬、钼和其它元素,同时硼还可以改善钢的其它物理和工艺性能。在低碳钢中容许硼含量至0.008%,在中碳钢中最大容许量为0.005%,超过这个限度,不仅会降低淬透性,还要出现热脆性。在不含硼的铸钢中,如果渗杂进硼元素,在不超过容许范围以内,一般讲是没有坏处的。我们在检查中碳铸钢的过程中,发现多次渗杂进去的硼元素,已超过了容许范围。本文谈到检查的情况,并对钢的影响和硼的来源作了初步分析。
Boron can significantly improve the hardenability of steel. When boron is in the steel in an amount of 0.002 to 0.005%, the hardenability is the best and can replace a large amount of nickel, chromium, molybdenum and other elements while boron can also improve other physical and process properties of the steel. Allowable boron content in mild steel to 0.008%, the maximum allowable amount of carbon steel 0.005%, exceeding this limit will not only reduce the hardenability, but also hot brittleness. In boron-free cast steels, it is generally not harmful to infiltrate into boron if it does not exceed the allowable range. We check the carbon steel in the process, found that many times infiltration of boron into the element, has exceeded the allowable range. This article addresses the inspection situation and makes a preliminary analysis of the impact of steel and the source of boron.
