I. Project Overview Huainan Reservoir is one of 5 medium-sized reservoirs in Xuyi County, Jiangsu Province. It is located in the upper Baitahe River and Wangdian Township in the southwestern mountainous area of Qionglai County. The reservoir was started construction in the winter of 1958 and completed in May 1960. With an area of 53.6km ~ 2 and a total storage capacity of 41.13 million m ~ 3, it is a medium-sized reservoir integrating flood control, irrigation, tourism, water supply and aquaculture.
